a Chinese Porcelain Famille Rose Tea Cup and Saucer with Two Deer’s Yongzheng period
a rare early 18th century Set of tea cup and saucer, decorated with bright colorful famille rose decoration. Two male and female deer standing under plum branches. The shape of the cup is inspired by Chinese wine cups. In Chinese folklore deer are the only animals capable of finding the lingzhi fungus which lead to immortality!
Size: Saucer, 10 cm diameter, 2 cm high. Cup, 6,5 cm diameter and 4,5 cm high.
Condition: Good used condition, Saucer has one minor frit, Cup has 3 clean short hard to see hairline’s, but no frit or chip. No other damage’s.
Age: 18th C, YongZheng period 1723-1735, Qing Dynasty.
